APO

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 22, 2026

APO is a cinematic photo and video camera for iPhone.

Data collection

APO does not collect, transmit, store, or sell personal data on developer-controlled servers.

Camera

APO requests access to the camera only to let you capture photos and videos inside the app.

Microphone

APO requests access to the microphone only when you choose to record audio with a video. You can record video without microphone access.

Photos

APO requests add-only permission to save photos and videos to your photo library when you choose to save them. APO does not request access to browse your photo library.

In-app purchases

APO offers optional APO Premium monthly and annual subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your full payment information.

Local storage

APO stores app settings and APO Roll photos and videos locally on your device so the app can function correctly. Temporary export files are also processed locally and are not uploaded by APO.

Retention and deletion

Media in APO Roll remains on your device until you delete it from APO or uninstall the app. Temporary capture and export files are deleted after use or when APO next launches. Copies saved to your photo library remain there until you delete them in Photos. APO has no user accounts or developer-controlled server copies of your media or settings, so there is no remote personal-data record to delete.

Diagnostics

APO uses Apple MetricKit and unified logging to diagnose stability and performance on the device. APO does not send these diagnostics to developer-controlled servers.

Third-party services

APO relies on Apple system frameworks such as AVFoundation, Core Image, Photos, MetricKit, and StoreKit for core functionality. APO does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.

Your choices

You can revoke camera, microphone, or Photos permissions at any time in the iPhone Settings app. You can also manage or cancel subscriptions from your Apple Account subscription settings.
